Peter Richards has been in Financial Services technology roles for more than 25 years. He has been the CTO at Goldman Sachs, Bear Stearns, JP Morgan Markets and Bank of America Markets. During that time he has been a prime mover in transformational projects, adapting technology advances to the business need. At both Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase he was a leader of the migration to cloud, as well as being responsible for the engineering and appropriate use of the distributed platform, which includes servers, storage, database, application server and application messaging services for the business units of the firm. In addtion his team implemented a significantly scaled configuration management process for JPMC that was the culmination of work started at Bear Stearns.
